NETWORK
INSTALLATION
A network links two or more computers together in order to
share information. In a single office environment the network
is referred to as Local Area Network (LAN). The main reasons
to network are to share information, to share computer peripherals
and to allow for Internet access and/or outside office communication.
PC Work Shop has been installing networks since we opened for business.
A free one-hour consultation is offered to evaluate a business’s
potential for a network.
LEASE
EMPLOYEE
This service is designed for companies that need a technician
for a scheduled day per week or month, for a specific amount
of time. The program provides the client with a part time
technician for a certain time frame based on the company’s
technical need. The time frame can be from 2 hours a month
to multiple hours per week. There is no charge for mileage
or travel time.
INTERNET
ACCESS
Internet
Access Equipment will allow companies to share a communications
device once a computer is attached to the LAN (Local Area
Network). The equipment controls the communications flow and
allows multiple users to simultaneously access the Internet
over a single communications line. PC Work Shop Computers installs
and supports several different Internet Access Equipment.
ELECTRONIC
MARKETING
This
service includes Internet marketing and web page design. The
service is designed for clients interested in having more
than a presence on the Internet. We provide a cheap way to
advertise, market and sell your company to the world. Anyone
can place a web page on the Internet, the secret is to find
a way to market that site. PC Work Shop has combined marketing principles
with the Internet and the result is mass exposure. The web
site begins with a non-fee consultation to initiate a common
goal and illustrate the client's web site objectives. Charge
is based on hours and materials.
TIME CONTRACT
This
service is designed to provide the client with a technician
at their request. The service is billed on 10 hour blocks
of time. There is no charge for travel time or mileage. Parts
used are at an additional cost. There is no guarantee on same
day service, and technicians will make every effort to handle
calls on a next day service. Clients are responsible for spare
equipment.
